Through our chrome extension, we allow individuals (“Users” or “you”) to control your workflow & collaboration in an easy, quick and fun way. The chrome extension and https://justbeepit.com (the “Site”) are referred to collectively in this Privacy Policy as the “Service”.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Beep's processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

Marketing

Beep would like to send you information about product-related announcements or information we think you might like or find helpful.

Upon registering, you allow us to send you, via email, regular information, marketing material, product promotions. We will not hand over your personal data to any third party or partner with which we don't have a data processing agreement. Even then, this data is only used for analytical or retargeting purposes. Whenever you want us to stop communicating with you, just inform us by unsubscribing or sending us an email.

 

How long do we keep your information?

How long we keep information we collect about you depends on the type of information.After such time, we will either delete or anonymize your information or, if this is not possible (for example, because the information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your information and isolate it from any further use until deletion is possible.

 

Account information: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active and a reasonable period thereafter in case you decide to re-activate the Services.  We also retain some of your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, to support business operations, and to continue to develop and improve our Services.

 

Information you share on our products: If your account is deactivated or disabled, some of your information and the content you have provided will remain in order to allow your team members or other users to make full use of our products. For example, we continue to display comments you created to people they have been shared with.

 

Managed accounts: If the Services are made available to you through an organization (e.g., your employer), we retain your information as long as required by the administrator of your account.

 

Marketing information: If you have chosen to receive marketing emails from us, we retain information about your marketing preferences for a reasonable period of time from the date you last expressed interest in our products, such as when you last opened an email from us or signed in to your Beep account.

 

How do we protect your information?

Technical security

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

 

Staff training & internal security measures

Further on, we train our staff regularly to keep your data secure. Security briefings for new employees, regular safety trainings, the usage of a password manager, as well as office access restrictions through access cards ensure a consistent security.

 

How do we store your data?

Beep securely stores your data encrypted on our own servers. Beep will inform you immediately, to the extent we are legally authorized to do so, in case of any application or order originating from an administrative or judicial authority relating to your personal data.

Website data we collect is primarily used to create a screenshot of your website and to display this information in the Beep dashboard. It is also used by Beep personnel to answer questions that our clients may have about their account and to develop and improve our products. Please contact us to learn more.

Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email. Please note, that using certain Beep services necessarily requires you to receive emails.

 

What data do we collect from you?


We collect information about you ("Personal Data") when you provide it to us, when you use our Service, and when other services provide it to us.

Account information: We collect information about you when you register for an account on Beep. For example, you provide billing information when you purchase one of our services. All users will minimally be requested for their name and email addresses upon signing up.

Information you provide through our products: This includes Beep's chrome extension, where we collect and store content that you create, store, and share. This content include any information about you that you may choose to include. Examples of content we collect include: the screenshots you create, the comments you add, the hashtags you assign to bookmark categories.

Website visitors: If you are one of our website visitors, we may collect non-personally-identifying information such as the browser type you are using, the referring site and date and time of each visit. We collect information when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter or fill out a form.

Information we collect automatically when you use our services: We track certain information about you when you visit and interact with any of our services. This includes information about the product features you use, the number of screenshots you create, the links you click.
